Printing Your Instant Shelter – Advice It seems that the majority of pop up gazebos we now supply have some form of printing on them, whether its a simple valence print or a full flood sub-limation print. People understand that a gazebo can not only be a practical way to shelter yourselves from the weather but a highly visible promotional tool. With that in mind we have decided to explain the different printing processes we use, hopefully helping customers understand the options we can offer. Heat Transfer Printing Heat transfer involves printing directly onto a vinyl material which is then heat pressed onto the shelter fabric. Using heat transfer we can produce sharp colourful digitally printed graphics. One of the main benefits of the particular method is the tight timescales we can work to, once artwork is confirmed we can have the pop up gazebo delivered to you within 7-10 days! (Try asking a competitor to do that!) Value for money is also a major benefit, with heat transfer we price each logo individually, helping you determine how many prints you can have to accommodate your budget. The downside is as we are printing onto pre-made canopies and sides we are slightly limited on how big we can go, stitching, Velcro etc all has to be taken into account. Sublimation Printing Sublimation offers a high definition, full colour, photographic quality printing. This method dyes the material ensuring the printing retains its initial quality. There really are no limits when it comes to the sublimation method, as all printing is carried out prior to the stitching of the canopies and sidewalls. Sublimation is often used for complicated all over print graphics, also known as full flood printing. Turnaround time can be slightly longer, around 10-14 days. Screen Printing We also use the traditional method of screen printing. It involves using numerous screens (one for each colour) and then applying ink to the gazebo material to create your artwork. Screen printing provides vivid logos but the initial set up cost for the screens means it is only cost effective if multiple shelters are ordered. If you have any printing requirements please contact us and we can discuss which method we believe will suit you best.
